The Grand Ole Opry features a dynamic line-up of new stars, superstars, and legends of country music. Unlike a typical concert, the Opry presents eight or more artists on each show, giving the audience a sample of each artist’s musical style.
The songwriter In The Round format, which is now known worldwide, gets its start at The Bluebird Cafe. A typical nightly performance consists of four songwriters seated in the center of the room, taking turns playing their songs and accompanying each other both instrumentally and with harmony vocals.
Every third Sunday from May (May date is the second Sunday) until October, Nashville jams out at Cumberland Park during Jazz on the Cumberland. All the music is provided by local jazz acts and is FREE to all.

Musicians Corner presents free outdoor concerts in Nashville’s Centennial Park. The events are free for all ages and feature multi-genre performances, food trucks, craft beer & wine, signature cocktails, local artisans, and activities for children. Join us each Friday and Saturday in May and June, and on Thursday evenings in September.
Arrington Vineyards hosts Music in the Vines every year from April through October every Saturday and Sunday. They offer two live music locations with the music lasting from 4-8pm on Saturdays and 2-6pm on Sundays. It's all free and the perfect chance to listen to great music and taste amazing wine!
Every Tuesday for two months in early Fall, the Nashville Public Library hosts a free concert from 11:45am-1pm. The concerts will take place right in their courtyard. So grab some lunch and enjoy the weather while listening to some great live music.
At the beginning of each summer, the Nashville Symphony offers a series of free performances at parks around town. The Community Concerts are a lovely event to share with family or friends under the warm night sky. Bring a picnic. Enjoy the music!
Each year the Ryman Auditorium hosts Bluegrass Nights at The Ryman presenting the biggest names in bluegrass on the very stage where the genre was born in 1945. Before every show is the free Pickin' on the Plaza live concert featuring a top regional bluegrass band.
