NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Thousands of visitors from near and far are expected to flock to Cheekwood to experience the beauty of spring during Cheekwood in Bloom. The annual festival, running March 9 – April 7, features more than 150,000 blooming bulbs throughout the gardens and five weekends of entertainment, including special programming and natural inspiration for guests of all ages.

“Cheekwood in Bloom is one of the most magical times to be at Cheekwood, as tulips, daffodils and flowering trees spread color all throughout the gardens,” said Mary Weber, director of horticulture at Cheekwood. “With family-friendly weekend activities and the return of the Beer Garden, there is no better place to be to celebrate spring’s arrival.”

Typically closed on Mondays, Cheekwood will open 7 days a week during the festival, offering special activities on the weekends. Also new this year, Cheekwood will add plein air painting on the weekends, offering guests a pristine landscape as inspiration for their own works of art.

Visitors can also enjoy returning favorites like seasonal brews and cocktails in the Beer Garden, as well as live music every weekend.

The festival schedule is listed below, and complete details can be found at cheekwood.org.
