Donations for Nashville Neighbors

Collecting donations for people and businesses impacted by the Christmas Day explosion in downtown Nashville.

Supporting Those Impacted by Christmas Morning Explosion

On Christmas morning, there was an intentional bombing/explosion on 2nd Avenue North in downtown Nashville, Tennessee. The person responsible, who died in the explosion, has been identified. During the investigation, areas of downtown Nashville were closed, temporarily displacing residents and closing businesses.

We have been overwhelmed by the outpouring of support from people all over the world. Many asked how to help, so we collected donations.

Through your generous donations, we raised $34,550 for impacted residents and businesses and their employees!

Thank you so much for everything you do for this great city. Because of you, we are #NashvilleStrong.

#2ndAveStrong Benefit Concert

On March 26, 2021, Wildhorse Saloon hosted a star-studded benefit concert, #2ndAveStrong.

The two-hour benefit concert featured an A-list lineup of musical performers including Old Dominion, Ashley McBryde, Lee Brice, and Scotty McCreery and took a fascinating look back on the important role 2nd Avenue has played in the history of Nashville. The show also featured appearances by Nashville Mayor John Cooper and Governor Bill Lee, plus a tribute to heroic first responder law enforcement officers

Funds raised will be distributed to support restoration and preservation of impacted buildings and streetscapes and associations working collaboratively to restore and revitalize 2nd Avenue. Visit nashvillemhcf.org/2nd-avenue-restoration to support #2ndAveStrong and learn more about the mission.

You can watch the full benefit concert and donate online at 2ndavestrong.org.
