NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Tailor Nashville, the award winning South Asian American dinner party style restaurant, will host a two-weekend pop-up series in partnership with The Nashville Food Project, located at 5904 California Ave. Tailor’s Nashville Food Project pop-up dinners will offer 6 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. seatings on Saturday, Sept. 11 and Saturday, Sept. 18, as well as a 7 p.m. seating on Sunday, Sept. 12 and Sunday, Sept. 19. Tailor recently announced the return to the restaurant’s pop-up roots as they build out their new space in the Taylor Place development set to open in early 2022, and this pop-up partnership marks the first of the pop-up events planned for the fall.

A portion of proceeds from these dinners will support the efforts of the The Nashville Food Project’s ongoing work, which includes efforts such as its Community Meals program that prepares and shares thousands of scratch-made, nutritious meals in collaboration with community partners, and an urban agriculture program that supports families in growing food for themselves and for market.

“We are such big fans of the work of The Nashville Food Project, so we jumped at the chance to collaborate in a way that could give back to the community we love,” said Tailor’s Culinary Creator Vivek Surti. “My business partner Heather Southerland and I can’t wait for our guests to come experience our home away from home during this pop-up dinner series.”
