Friday Night Movies at the Zoo Kick off April 25
Nashville Zoo’s family movie night series, Zoovies, is back for the 2014 season. The first feature film, The Croods, is set to take place Friday, April 25.
Zoovies takes place after the Zoo closes at 6 p.m. Guests can enjoy inflatables and games, face painters, rides on the Wild Animal Carousel and visits to DinoTrek. When the sun goes down, the evening’s movie will play on a giant inflatable screen on Festival Field.
Zoovies is included with Zoo admission or membership. For guests arriving after the Zoo closes at 6 p.m., the cost is $6. Wild Animal Carousel, DinoTrek and face painting are additional fees. In the event of inclement weather, a cancellation notice will be posted on the Zoo’s website and Facebook page by 4:30 p.m. the day of the event. Additional Zoovies are scheduled for May 16 (Madagascar 2), June 27 (Epic) and September 12 (Monsters Inc.). Zoovies is supported by Bayberry Moon Productions and Irwin Entertainment.
