EDGEHILL VILLAGE KICKS OFF SPRING WITH FREE EVENT
Edgehill Rocks Offers Day Of Music, Food And Art In Nashville’s Historic Edgehill Neighborhood
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (March 22, 2016) – Edgehill Village, the popular mixed-use development in the heart of Nashville’s historic Edgehill neighborhood, is presenting the second annual Edgehill Rocks event on Saturday, April 2nd, from 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.
The one-day, outdoor celebration—which benefits the Organized Neighbors of Edgehill, a nonprofit that assists the diverse people of the neighborhood—will feature live entertainment from local artists, delicious offerings from popular food vendors, a kid’s area, the chance to shop from local merchants and more.
“Edgehill Village is unique in that there’s a wonderful pairing of character and historic charm from the old buildings and the support and vibrancy of new businesses,” said Jay Weaver, member of Edgehill Village Partners and principal with Weaver Capital Partners of Atlanta. “Edgehill Rocks is an opportunity to bring together members of Edgehill and the Nashville community to support one of Music City’s cherished historic neighborhoods. It’s also a great family-friendly event to enjoy live entertainment and celebrate the city’s local food, musicians and artists.”
The lineup of bands and musicians that will play on the event’s two different stages throughout the day includes Chaos Emeralds, The Melting Pot Band, Julia Cole and Heath Forbes, with local alternative band Baash featured as the headliner.
Attendees can also enjoy their choice of food options from local favorites such as Edley’s Bar-B-Que, Bradley’s Creamery and the Grilled Cheeserie, among others, while shopping unique finds and handmade goods from more the 60 artists and merchants.
In addition, individuals and families and invited to visit the restaurants and dessert shops at Edgehill Village, including Taco Mamacita, Old Glory, Legato Gelato, Edgehill, Dulce Desserts and Bella Napoli, and are encouraged to explore the surrounding stores and businesses, such as Warby Parker and J.Crew Men’s Shop, opening Tuesday, March 29.
