LITTLE OCTOPUS MOVING
POP Nashville’s most recent concept Little Octopus, helmed by Chef Daniel Herget, is ending it’s one year pop-up run July 31st at the East Nashville location POP at 604 Gallatin Ave.
POP Nashville, owned and operated by Sarah & Brad Gavigan has continued to follow the business model of “graduating” concepts to a full time location once benchmarks have been met. The fast-growing restaurant group has chosen a location for Little Octopus that makes it more central to its core customer base and near its sister restaurant Otaku Ramen in The Gulch neighborhood of Nashville.
Little Octopus will be located at 505 12th Ave S, Nashville, TN 37203, in the former Ru-San’s space. Construction is slated to begin in June.
“We learn a tremendous amount about each concept in this first year; what works, who our customers are and where they are coming from. Little Octopus surprised us in many ways, the biggest being that our core customer base being from West and South Nashville. Finding a location in the rapidly changing Gulch was a fantastic fit for us,” says Chef/Owner Sarah Gavigan.
Continuing with the POP business model, Little Octopus will close on July 31st, and POP will quickly re-open a new concept at 604 Gallatin Ave in August, to be announced in the coming weeks.
The design team behind Otaku South, Design, Bitches, will be back to re-create the new Little Octopus space. “Cathy and Rebecca have become an integral part of our growing vision and we are very excited to show Nashville the complete vision of Little Octopus.”
The Little Octopus menu and style of service will continue in the new space along with an expanded wine list and full bar. More details are forthcoming.
