The Battle is Back- Nashville Scene's 11th Annual Iron Fork Returns
Annual cooking competition features 4 of Nashville's top chefs & 1 secret ingredient
Nashville Scene's 11th annual Iron Fork, presented by US Foods, returns with four chefs from Nashville's best restaurants battling it out in a head-to-head in a cooking competition to win the coveted Iron Fork Trophy and entrance into the World Food Championships. Chefs will compete in a cooking competition, modeled after popular Food Network television show Iron Chef, and will prepare a dish for a panel of judges that must incorporate one secret ingredient.
Event attendees will taste unlimited samples from some of Nashville's favorite restaurants, and sip libations including beer, wine, and specialty cocktails, all while they watch the heated competition go down.
The event will be held on March 22, 2018 at Musician's Hall of Fame from 6:00pm – 9:30pm. Confirmed competing chefs are Julia Sullivan of Henrietta Red, Trey Ciaccio of Black Rabbit/The Farm House and Larry Carlile of Hemingway's. The emcees of the evening are Crystal De Luna Bogan of The Grilled Cheeserie, and two-time champion Jessica Benefield of Two Ten Jack.
Participating restaurants providing samples include: Grilled Cheeserie, Pinewood Social, Merchants, BB Kings, Café Rakka, Bare Naked Bagel, Funk Seoul Brother, and The Art Institute of Tennessee- Nashville, plus many more to come!
Libations will be provided by Monkey Shoulder Scotch, Reyka Vodka, Chattanooga Whiskey, Blue Chair Bay Rum, and more.
The event will benefit the Nashville Food Project.
