About This Spot
Johnny Cash used this place to escape from public life. Now the Storytellers Hideaway Farm & Museum is a must-stop for anyone interested in knowing more about the man behind the country music icon. Visitors will tour the country store that was converted into The Little Stage, and see artifacts from classic country music stars. Live mini concerts happen throughout the day, with our talented in-house musicians. Afterward, visitors will be able to tour the hideaway home - built before the Civil War by the prominent Weems family - that Johnny Cash called the center of his universe for over 30 years, and will learn so much more about the man behind the legend. The farm is where we house the famous One Piece At A Time Cadillac. Visitors are welcome to savor the peace and serenity of the 8-acre field. On a limited basis, the venue can be rented for concerts, private functions, and other events.
All walkways are paved, with low-to-no grades.
The tours of the farmhouse and the museum are accessible.
