Belle Meade Plantationlocated in Belle Meade, Tennessee, is a historic plantation mansion whose grounds now function as a museum.

About This Spot
Belle Meade Plantation started in 1807 with a log cabin and 250 acres. It grew into a beautiful Greek Revival Mansion and one of the largest private estates in Nashville covering over 5400 acres and was the center of hospitality. Today, guests may explore the remaining 30 acres and find the original cabin, a slave cabin and a massive Carriage and Stable House built in 1892, housing one of the most impressive carriage collections to be found. After your guided tour is complete, you can enjoy a complimentary wine tasting in our Winery. We also have an on-site restaurant called The Belle Meade Meat & Three that features hickory smoked meats, fresh cooked vegetables, cornbread and biscuits and house-made desserts. Indulge in our wines, our hand-made chocolates, our homemade fudge or ice cream, and then visit our gift shops for even more treasures. From our guided tours, to our Food and Wine Pairings, Bourbon Experiences, or Segway Tours, we have a variety of opportunities for you to relax and escape to our sanctuary of Southern hospitality.
