St. Jude Rock 'N' Roll Nashville Marathon & 1/2 Marathon - The Races

Information about what races you can compete in during the St. Jude Rock 'N' Roll Nashville Marathon & 1/2 Marathon.

Saturday, April 25
Marathon, 1/2 Marathon, and 5K

At 6:45am, the first steps of the race are taken by participants in the 5K at 6th Avenue & Demonbreun Street. And just 30 minutes later, at 7:15am, wheelchairs, runners, and walkers start the 26.2-mile Marathon and 13.1-mile 1/2 Marathon trek through Music City. Routes take participants from downtown Nashville to Nissan Stadium, through Nashville neighborhoods like 12South, Belmont, Music Row, and The Gulch, passing by landmarks such as the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, Frist Art Museum, Schermerhorn Symphony Center, First Tennessee Park, Sevier Park, and more.

All along the way, cheer squads line the streets to encourage racers. And to keep up the pace, live bands play on stages throughout the course, sending out music of every beat, from jazz and blues, to rock and country.

All finishers get a Technical Participant T-Shirt, Gear Bag, Exclusive Finisher Medal, admission to the Finish Line Festival, and Post-Race Concert that night.

Sunday, April 26
1 Mile

The 1 Mile will take place at Nissan Stadium at noon. Participants receive a Technical Participant T-Shirt, Gear Bag, Finisher Medal, Admission to the Health & Fitness Expo, and a Beer(!) at the Finish Line Festival.

Sunday, April 26
Doggie Dash

Runners have the chance to complete a 1/2 mile Doggie Dash with their furry friends at the Nissan Stadium at 12:15. An exclusive off-leash dog park, doggie dash dog tag, bandana, and more will be offered to participating runners.

Sunday, April 26
KiDS ROCK Nashville presented by YMCA of Middle Tennessee

That's not all! Kids want to run, too. Over 3,500 kids will run the KiDS ROCK Nashville presented by YMCA of Middle Tennessee from 1:30-4pm. This is a non-timed, non-competitive event for children in grades K-7, so they can get involved with the marathon excitement and run with kids their own size.
