The Nashville Public Library will display its respected marionette tradition – which began in 1938 with the work of Tom Tichenor – to create more magical history with puppeteers from across the country at Nashville's Downtown Puppet Festival. See The Frog Prince, Pinocchio and more. Experience puppets and stories from across the country. And you can even make your own puppet to take home! The weekend event offers acts and workshops by world-class puppeteers to visitors of all ages.
The event is free and open to the public. Tickets will be available at the library on the day of each performance. As a convenience, a limited number of tickets may be reserved online. Attendees must reserve tickets for each show. Space is limited and tickets are given on a first come, first served basis.
