Begin your 4th of July celebrations with a Nashville culinary tradition- hot chicken! This is a free event that features the Nashville favorite, an amateur cooking competition, inflatable jumps great for the kids, a Yazoo Brewery beer garden and music. Get downtown quick to be a lucky recipient of free hot chicken samples from several Nashville restaurants.

The Music City Hot Chicken Festival has been named as one of the Top 10 Summer Festivals for Families by roadtripsforfamilies.com.
The festival will be held at East Park at 700 Woodland Street in East Nashville from noon to 5pm. Afterwards, head on downtown for the FREE 4th of July festivities, music and awesome fireworks at Riverfront Park.
