FRANKLIN AMERICAN MORTGAGE MUSIC CITY BOWL LP FIELD DECEMBER 30, 2011   The 14th annual bowl game in Nashville pits the ACC against the SEC in a holiday celebration of football. Mississippi State University meets Wake Forest at LP Field on Friday, December 30 at 5:40pm. Televised nationally to millions of viewers on ESPN, the Bowl is Nashville's Holiday Tradition. Events leading up to the Bowl: See Gaylord Opryland® Attractions Bowl Week Schedule of Events Franklin American Mortgage Bowl Coaches Luncheon Thursday, December 29 @ 11:30am Wildhorse Saloon Fans have a chance to interact with SEC and ACC student-athletes and coaches including an opportunity to have a Q&A session with both head coaches from the participating schools. The event is open to the public but RSVP is required. MusicFest & Battle of the Bands Thursday, December 29 @ 5-7pm 2nd Avenue North in downtown Music City Thousands of fans will converge on world-famous 2nd Avenue for the outdoor party featuring MSU & Wake Forest bands and cheerleaders. Love and Theft will perform a FREE concert prior to the Battle of the Bands. Admission to the Battle of the Bands is free and open to the public. Show your Bowl patch (available at musiccitybowl.com) and receive Fan discounts at participating locations in downtown Nashville. The Jack Daniel's Experience will be available for fans rom 4-8pm. Zac Brown Band will perform at Bridgestone Arena at 7pm. Downtown Gameday Activities Friday, December 30 @ 12-5pm Lower Broadway at the Court of Flags The Jack Daniel's Experience will be available 12-5pm. The MSU Pep Rally with bands will begin at 1:45pm and the Wake Forest Pep Rally with bands begins at 2:30pm. You can also enjoy a pre-game concert from Small Time Rock Stars at 3pm. Family Zone Area Friday, December 30 @ 2:30pm-Kickoff South End Zone Area Lot R Join other Bowl fans for a pregame party just steps from LP Field.
