MUSIC CITY FESTIVAL & BBQ CHAMPIONSHIP Riverfront Park August 26-27 The annual event encompasses two of Nashville's best talents - bbq and music. BBQ Competition Professional and backyard cook teams are invited to cook in a fierce competition of BBQ. The event is sanctioned by the Memphis BBQ Network and Kansas City Barbeque Society. Festival-goers have the opportunity to join a judging team for the People's Choice Award and enjoy samples from five teams. Some of Nashville's best BBQ will be offered from vendors around the venue. Music City Car Show - Saturday, August 27 More than 100 cars will compete for $1000 in cash prizes trophies in classes including Best Paint, Best Interior, Best Engine and others. Beautiful cars of every decade will be on display for visitors. Live Music Three small stages will host music beginning at 2pm on Saturday at the Music City Car Show, in the Corporate Challenge Arena and in the Kids Zone. The Grand Ol' Porker Stage will be the place for music each night. On Friday, The WannaBeatles, 7 Bridges and The Marshall Tucker Band take the stage. On Saturday, Ft.
