TENNESSEE JAZZ & BLUES SOCIETY'S CONCERT ON THE LAWN
BELLE MEADE PLANTATION

Every summer, the Tennessee Jazz & Blues Society hosts a jazz concert series on the lawn of Belle Meade Plantation. It makes for a great Sunday outing. Bring a blanket and picnic basket and chill out to some great music from some of Music City's best jazz musicians in a beautiful Nashville setting. Take a look at the schedule below and make your way out to Belle Meade for a great summer concert.

June 13: Rod McGaha
Since coming to Nashville, trumpet master Rod McGaha has established himself as a wholly original voice on the jazz scene and one of the city’s favorite jazz performers. His music blends bebop, traditional jazz, gospel and funk.
June 27: Stacy Mitchhart
Blues guitarist Stacy Mitchhart is one of Nashville’s most popular and dynamic blues performers. His band has been a favorite at Bourbon Street Blues and Boogie Bar, B.B. King’s and local festivals.
July 11: Dana Robbins
Contemporary saxophonist Dana Robbins has worked with everyone from Barry Manilow to Tower of Power, and just finished an appearance with Aretha Franklin!
July 25: Moe Denham All-Stars with Rahsaan Barber, Jim Williamson, Bob Sabelico, Robert Bond
Moe Denham is Nashville’s undisputed Master of the Hammond B3 Organ. His music spans jazz and blues and will pack some extra octane here with an all-star group of musicians.
August 8: Jeff Hall and Third Coast Vocals
3rd Coast Vocals is an exciting four part vocal jazz ensemble following in the giant footsteps of groups like The Manhattan Transfer, Lambert Hendricks and Ross, & New York Voices, With swinging arrangements and tight harmonies, 3rd Coast places their individual stamp on jazz classics and unique & original material.
August 29: The Fabulous Wootens
Nashville’s royal family of music, The Wootens, brought down the house last year. They’re back for an encore to close the summer season in style!


All concerts begin at 6pm on the lawn near the Carriage House. Bring your lawnchairs and coolers for a picnic!

Gates open at 5pm. General admission is $20 per person for non-members; $10 for members.
