Music, like food, is at the intersection of our lives. Bon Appétit, in partnership with Visit Music City, is turning up the volume in the kitchen with the “Press Play” program on their newly relaunched website, bonappetit.com. These custom Spotify playlists are curated by Nashville’s top chefs including Philip Krajeck of Rolf & Daughters, Tandy Wilson of City House and Tyler Brown of Capitol Grille. Even Bon Appétit editor, Andrew Knowlton, has put together his own “Nashville playlist.”
As you peruse the site you’ll come across different playlists. So take a listen and then save the playlists on your personal Spotify account to listen to anytime.
Bon Appétit named Nashville the “coolest, tastiest city in the South” and is currently showing a trailer of Nashville’s new documentary "For the Love of Music, the Story of Nashville" on their homepage, so be sure to check it out!
Bon Appetit celebrated the launch of Press Play in Nashville in August. They invited four local chefs, Erik Anderson (The Catbird Seat), Philip Krajeck (Rolf & Daughters), Tandy Wilson (City House) and Tyler Brown (Capitol Grille) to create their own version of a ‘meat and three’ dish. Musical performances by Keb’ Mo’, Nikki Lane, Rayland Baxter and Striking Matches entertained the crowd. It was the perfect union of great music and amazing food.
