CMA MUSIC FESTIVAL JUNE 5-8 DOWNTOWN MUSIC CITY
The annual CMA MUSIC FESTIVAL is unlike any other, taking place
over four days and featuring more than 100 hours of musical
performances, 30 hours of autograph signings, celebrity sports
competitions, and other events with more than 400 artists and
celebrities participating. The 2008 CMA Music Festival is the Ultimate
Country Music Fan Experience in the place that Music Calls Home - Music
City.

The annual benefit concert for MusiCares takes place on the eve of CMA Music Festival, June 4 at 10pm at the historic Ryman Auditorium. Music City Rising Star Competition. Perform and compete in a vocal soloist competition created especially for high school students. Compete against other student soloists from across the country at the stage in the Family Zone in front of huge crowds and expert vocal judges.
All participants' package plans include deluxe accommodations at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center Nashville, full American breakfast daily, access to over 100 hours of concerts, admission to the Wrangler Fan Fair, a special awards ceremony luncheon at the Wildhorse Saloon, activities at the hotel and memories to last a lifetime.
Trophies will be presented to the top five soloists in each age group, best acoustic performance and original selection, and outstanding showmanship, audience appeal, and instrumentalist as well as to the Top 5 finalists and to the Grand Champion Music City Rising Star.
