Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood will host the 43rd Annual CMA Awards. Country Music's Biggest Night airs live from Music City's Sommet Center Wednesday, November 11 (8:00PM/ET) on the ABC Television Network. The event honors country music artists, musicians, producers, publishers, songwriters, video directors and industry executives.

In addition to bestowing a CMA Award upon those deemed the best in the business, the event also features musical performances from your favorite country music acts. Set to appear at the 2009 show include Jason Aldean, Brooks & Dunn, Tim McGraw, Reba McEntire, Billy Currington, George Strait, Taylor Swift, Sugarland, Lady Antebellum, Dave Matthews and Kenny Chesney, Miranda Lambert and many more.

The temporary store will "pop up" in the middle of downtown and will feature the new Alan Jackson Collection along with other Cracker Barrel merchandise elated to music and their branded food products. Music City Walk of Fame Induction Ceremony

 Be there as Dolly Parton, Kid Rock, Ernest Tubb, Tootsie Bess and Charlie Daniels are inducted to the Music City Walk of Fame. The event, 2-4pm,  is free and open to the public. Get the details here.

CMA Awards hosts Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley will perform on "Good Morning America" live from Nashville on ABC. The concert is free and open to the public and will air from Music City's Sommet Center Plaza from 6-8am/CT.


CMA Songwriter Series

The series, which has played to sell-out shows in New York City for the past five years and recently held performances in Los Angeles and Chicago, comes home to Nashville on the eve of “The 43rd Annual CMA Awards.” Some of Music City's most talented songwriter will share their songs and the stories behind them. Randy Houser, Bob DiPiero, Brett James, Rivers Rutherford and Victoria Shaw are all set to appear.
