Anyone who is a fan of jazz, soul, gospel, reggae or blues won't want to miss this unique musical weekend. The Music City J.A.M. (Jazz And More), hosted by Kirk Whalum, offers nationally renowned artists along with local flavors. The family-oriented event showcases the harmonious diversity of Music City. Ticket prices are $25 for a two-day pass and $15 for a single day pass. Children under 6-years-old do not need a ticket to enter the Riverfront Park venue. Anyone who purchases festival tickets the day of the event and can show their ticket for the John Merritt Classic will receive a $5 discount. A portion of the proceeds will benefit The Museum of African American Music, Art & Culture, and Music City, Inc.
