Bobby Hotel is a 144-room boutique hotel in the Wells Fargo Plaza on 4th Avenue North.
Fairlane Hotel (opened March 2018)
401 Union Street
Fairlane Hotel, an 81-room boutique hotel, is now open on the corner of 4th Avenue and Union Street downtown.
Cambria Suites (opened January 2018)

Located near the Music City Center, the Cambria Suites, a 255-room limited-service hotel, is now open.
Noelle (opened December 2017)

Noelle, a new independent brand from Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide Inc., is a 224-room full-service hotel with a restaurant, rooftop bar, local shop, and speakeasy.
Holston House - Unbound Collection by Hyatt (opened December 2017)

The Unbound Collection by Hyatt is a full-service property with 191 rooms.
Kimpton Aertson Hotel (opened June 2017)
Kimpton, an upscale brand affiliated with the nation’s largest chain of boutique hotels, opened in Nashville’s Midtown neighborhood in June 2017. The hotel anchors a $100 million mixed-used project called Buckingham Midtown development. The full-service hotel includes 180 rooms, a restaurant and bar, 6,500 square feet of meeting and event space, a pool, and 630 parking spaces.
21c Museum Hotel (opened in May 2017)

21c Museum Hotel, the 124-room boutique hotel and contemporary art museum, is housed in downtown’s historic 222 Building. The 1890s-era building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and will continue to help bring revitalization through contemporary art to the downtown core.

A historic home from the 1870’s has been renovated and transformed into the Germantown Inn, a 6-room boutique hotel that is now open.
Thompson Nashville (opened October 2016)

The 224-room lifestyle luxury Thompson Nashville sits on .64 acres on what had been a gravel parking lot. Rising 12 stories, the hotel shares the block home to The Station Inn and The 404 Hotel. The hotel features Chef John Besh’s Marsh House, the L.A. Jackson rooftop bar, retail space and a venue open to the public that can also be used as private event space.
Westin Nashville Hotel (opened October 2016)

The 27-story, 500,000-square-foot Westin Nashville Hotel is located in SoBro on the northwest segment of the Music City Center roundabout. The hotel is full service with 453 rooms and includes a 6,000-square-foot spa, Oak Steakhouse, L27 Rooftop Bar & Lounge, a rooftop pool, and 200+ parking spaces.

The SoBro Guesthouse is an apartment building that was converted into a 24-room guest house in the area South of Broadway.
506 Lofts (opened spring 2016)
506 Church Street
506 lofts is resetting traveler's expectations about what it means to stay in a vacation rental. Five lofts make up 506 Lofts and the owners have left no detail to chance. From custom furniture by local craftsmen to commissioned art pieces, the owners have taken painstaking efforts to restore this over 135-year-old building by mixing in modern elements to the historic charm.
Hilton Garden Inn Nashville Downtown/Convention Center (opened June 2015)

Hilton Garden Inn Nashville Downtown/Convention Center opened June 2015 and is located in the heart of downtown Nashville within walking distance of the Music City Center. The 11-story, 214-room hotel capitalizes on its location by focusing on its panoramic views. The hotel features five meeting rooms and more than 4,200 square feet of flexible meeting space, along with high-end amenities including complimentary WiFi, 24-hour business center, a state-of-the-art fitness center, rooftop pool with a deck and bar, three onsite restaurants, and a floating staircase.

The Holiday Inn Express & Suites Goodlettsville is expected to open Summer 2018, with 97 rooms.

The Candlewood Suites Goodlettsville limited-service hotel is expected to open in 2018 with 100 rooms.

JW Marriott Nashville is scheduled to open downtown in 2018. The 35-story tower will rise to be one of the tallest points in the city. In addition to offering 533 guest rooms, the full-service hotel will have 50,000 square feet of meeting space, two full-service dining options, a roof top bar, state-of-the-art spa and exercise facility, as well as an executive lounge.
Residence Inn Opryland

The 125-room limited-service Residence Inn Opryland is expected to open in 2018 in the Music Valley neighborhood of Nashville.
Fairfield Inn Airport
Elm Hill Pike and Royal Parkway
Located by the Nashville International Airport, Fairfield Inn Airport is expected to open in 2018. The limited-service hotel will have 101 rooms.
Tri-brand Marriott (AC Hotel, SpringHill Suites, and a Residence Inn by Marriott)
410 5th Avenue South
Atlanta-based North Point Hospitality Group has started work on the tri-branded Marriott hotel in SoBro. The 19-story hotel will have 470 rooms overall with a 209-unit AC Hotel, a 136-unit Residence Inn, and a 125-unit SpringHill Suites by Marriott. Valet parking will be on floors two through five and include 444 parking spaces. The project will cost $120 million and is expected to open in 2018.
Hilton Green Hills & Residence Inn
2400 Crestmoor Road
The 146,900-square-foot Hilton and 90,110-square-foot Residence Inn in Green Hills are expected to open in 2018. They are also planning for office and retail spaces, as well as an eight-level parking garage with over 550 spaces.

The six-story, 169-room Dream Nashville Hotel is planned for Printer’s Alley and is projected to open in 2018. The building was formerly a hotel in 1891 and developers plan on preserving and incorporating the original trim and mold, ornate overhead light fixtures, and rare Tennessee pink marble into the hotel design. The full-service hotel will embrace the past and revitalize the area with new options for locals, business travelers, and tourists to enjoy.
Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites

The full-service Holiday Inn is expected to have 230 rooms and open in early 2019.
Moxy Hotel/Barkley Lake Inn
3rd Avenue S & Broadway
A 161-room Moxy Hotel by Marriott is planned to open in early 2019. Moxy is a contemporary lifestyle brand of boutique hotels that strives to appeal to budget-saavy, millennial travelers.
MOXY Hillsboro Village
1911 Belcourt Avenue
This limited-service hotel will have 130 rooms with an anticipated opening in spring of 2019.
Virgin Hotels Nashville
1 Music Row (1 Music Square West)
Virgin Hotel, a lifestyle hotel brand by billionaire British entrepreneur Sir Richard Branson, will be a 14-story hotel and will include 260 hotel rooms, a hybrid bar/lounge, a laid-back study, a restaurant designed to have the feel of a membership club without the fees, an entertainment venue, and a veranda with views of the city. The property is expected to open in 2019.

This 140-room, full-service hotel is projected to open in 2019.
10th Avenue & Broadway
With 591 rooms, this full-service Hyatt Regency is set to open in 2020.

Embassy Suites/Hilton Curio
Hilton is looking to open a branch of their high-end Curio collection in Nashville’s Midtown. The Embassy Suites is expected to have 506 rooms, and the Hilton Curio will be a boutique hotel with 215 rooms. Expected to open mid-2020.

The W Hotel will be part of a 16-story, mixed-use project planned for the Gulch. The hotel will have approximately 250 guestrooms, as well as a restaurant, a pool deck, and meeting and event spaces. It is expected to open in 2020.
The Joseph Luxury Collection

The Joseph Luxury Collection is planning for its first Nashville location. The Joseph Nashville will be a 21-story, 297-room luxury hotel in the SoBro neighborhood. Ohio-based developers plan to open in early 2021.
1218 6th Avenue N
The germantown inn, an historic two-story Federal-style house in Nashville’s Germantown neighborhood that was reimagined into a six-suite boutique inn in December 2016, has announced approval for construction to begin on the Carriage House. The 2,000-square-foot addition will encompass two stories and four additional suites, nearly doubling the capacity of Germantown’s only hotel in the neighborhood. The Carriage House is scheduled to be completed in the third quarter of 2018.
Renaissance Nashville Hotel

The commons area at the Renaissance Nashville Hotel is undergoing major upgrades, set to begin spring 2018.
1808 West End Avenue
The Hutton Hotel completed renovations in December 2017 that upgraded its guest rooms, suites, and lobby. Renovations also included the creation of Analog, a 5,000 square foot music venue, in addition to writer's creative spaces. The hotel unveiled a new restaurant, WestEnd Kitchen & Bar, offering an innovative take on traditional Southern cuisine.
301 Union Street
The Hotel Indigo Downtown Nashville completed an expansion that provided an additional 30 guest rooms, for a total of 160. The next phase in the renovation will be upgrades to exterior and canopy.
Sheraton Grand Nashville Downtown

The Sheraton Nashville Downtown's extensive renovation catapults the property into the brand's prestigious "Grand" category, one of just five in the United States with this distinction. The $35 million renovation includes all-new spacious guestrooms, 30,000-square-feet of expanded meeting space, a remodeled fitness center, and diverse new culinary offerings. The hotel also has a penthouse event space, Skye, overlooking Music City.
Union Station Hotel
The Union Station Hotel completed a full renovation in October 2016—including the guest rooms, events space, and public area. The hotel bar and restaurant have been relocated to a more prominent location in the lobby, and the lobby has been transformed into a gathering space with updated furnishings, communal tables, and lighting.
Gaylord Opryland Resort

Gaylord Opryland renovated 483 guest rooms in the Garden Conservatory area of the resort, as well as several meeting rooms and a ballroom, with the renovation valued at $16 million. A total of 18 total meeting rooms were also renovated, including the Hermitage meeting rooms, Cheekwood meeting rooms, and Governor’s chambers.
Hampton Inn & Suites Nashville/Airport

The Hampton Inn & Suites Nashville Airport recently renovated much of the property, including the roof skyline, exterior, public spaces, guest rooms, and more.
Grand Ole Opry House

The Grand Ole Opry House is undergoing a $12 million expansion, which will include additional parking, larger retail space, and an upgraded area for backstage tours. The enhancements are aimed at improving the guest experience before fans take their seats inside the Grand Ole Opry House. The additional 1,300 parking spaces and retail space are expected to be completed by October 2018. The plans for a VIP lounge for backstage tours are still being finalized.
A $20-million upgrade includes a facelift to the south entrance of Bridgestone Arena, where an entrance at Fifth and Demonbreun has opened up to Nashville’s developing SoBro area. Other renovations include 3,000 to 6,000 square feet of retail space (including a team store), a new tavern and pub called Tavern ‘96, and upgrades to building parts such as a new HVAC system and carpet on upper levels. 34 Metal detectors have been installed at entrances across the arena, including 12 at the main entrance on the corner of 5th Avenue and Broadway. All of the seats in the lower bowl of the arena have been replaced, all handrails and entrances have been repainted, and the stairs have been treated with anti-slip and glow-in-the-dark strips for patron’s safety. Several new food options were constructed near the main entrance, and the Nissan Atrium food court was totally gutted and renovated. New indoor and outdoor plaza areas have been upgraded, along with glass to replace portions of existing concrete. A massive outdoor television screen and news banner are on display for those passing by.
Intersection of 21st Avenue South, Broadway, and Division Street
A $100-million, 17-story, 600,000-square-foot mixed-use Midtown project, called Buckingham Midtown, is being developed by Indianapolis-based Buckingham Companies. The Buckingham Midtown development is LEED-designed and will include a Kimpton Hotel, a restaurant and bar, 35,000 square feet of ground-level retail space, 350 upscale apartments, and 630 parking spaces. The project should open in phases with full completion of the project expected in early 2017.
Corsair Artisan Distillery
601 Merritt Avenue
Due to celebrated demand, Corsair is expanding into the Wedgewood-Houston neighborhood in South Nashville. Plans are to keep the Marathon Village facility focus on brewing beer and the Wedgewood-Houston facility for distillation and barreling.
Music City Center
201 5th Avenue South
Announced in 2017, Music City Center is set to undergo renovations totaling $19.9 million. The upgrades will include a new food and beverage outlet on the side of the building near Demonbreun Street and Eighth Avenue; a new registration area and concourse space fronting the building's main exhibit hall; and a new concourse and reception area for the facility's Davidson Ballroom.
3630 Redmon Street
The School of Nashville Ballet has renovated and expanded its building. They purchased the adjoining space of its Sylvan Heights building, previously occupied by Climb Nashville, and increased the facility from 31,000 to 44,000 square feet. The expansion includes three new studios, a larger lobby, additional parking, increased administrative space, a Pilates room, and a physical therapy room.
1 Titans Way
The $15 million dollar improvements will supply the home of the Tennessee Titans with 68,798 new seats and 68 luxury suites. Upgrades are expected to take two off seasons to complete, and will be funded by the ticket taxes from games and the revenue from concessions at the CMA Music Festival.
ATTRACTION and VENUE UPDATES
1st Avenue South
The debut of the 6,800-seat, state-of-the-art Ascend Amphitheater at The Green at Riverfront Park was in July 2015. Ascend Amphitheater is a part of the West Riverfront Park redevelopment project in downtown Nashville.
Aqua Park by Nashville Shores
Percy Priest Lake
Aqua Park, a new, interactive playground, is set to open in summer 2018 at Percy Priest Lake. The interactive playground will have 40 colorful units, including monkey bars, action towers, and wiggle bridges. Nashville Shores also plans to improve its beach area, create a new beach volleyball court, and more. Nashville Shores celebrates 20 years in 2018.
The Band Box

In 2015, Strategic Hospitality opened The Band Box, an outdoor restaurant, bar, and entertainment venue at the new Sounds stadium. The Band Box occupies 4,000 square feet in the right field concourse area, and will be open for all home games. The restaurant offers an elevated stadium dining experience, including items such as Porter Road Butcher pork sausage, smoked pork nachos, salads, craft beers on tap, a liquor selection, and entertainment options including televisions, ping pong, corn hole, table hockey, and shuffleboard.
The Country Club at the Band Box

Strategic Hospitality partnered with OZ Arts Nashville to create The Country Club at the Band Box– a 9-hole miniature golf course in right field. The course, which features local or regional artists at each of the nine holes, opened in July 2016. It is open during regular ball park hours, with extended hours for weekend games.
First Tennessee Park

The Sounds baseball stadium, First Tennessee Park, opened in time for the Sounds first home game on April 17, 2015. The city issued municipal bonds to cover an estimated $65 million price tag, including both construction and land acquisition cost, with the Sounds committing to a 30-year lease agreement. The ballpark has 8,500 fixed seats, a huge parking lot, and a pedestrian greenway among other things. The Sounds have pledged $60 million towards mixed-use real estate development in the surrounding area.
The George Jones
128 2nd Avenue North
Spanning more than 44,000 square feet, The George Jones opened April 2015 and gives fans a chance to get a never-before-seen look into the life and career of the musical icon. The world-class museum features displays of memorabilia and photos, video displays and interactive experiences, and a 40-seat rocking chair theatre that shows clips from Jones’s television broadcasts, concert appearances, and interviews. A gift shop and Choices Restaurant and Bar can be found on the first floor, and a museum showcasing the country music legend on the second floor. The third-floor offers an event space and a rooftop bar that overlooks the Cumberland River. Under new management since late 2016, the building was recently renovated, including an expanded rooftop bar, and reconfigured first floor.
515 Opry Mills Drive
Opened in April 2017, Madame Tussauds Nashville treats guests to immersive iconic scenes and musical performances that are unique to this interactive wax attraction. Wax figures at the Nashville location include Darius Rucker, Reba McEntire, Jimi Hendrix, Little Jimmy Dickens, and more.
Musicians Hall of Fame and Museum and The GRAMMY Museum Gallery®

The Musicians Hall of Fame and Museum partnered with the GRAMMY Museum at L.A. Live to host a permanent collection of the Grammy Museum Gallery, which pays tribute to music’s cultural history and the GRAMMY award itself. The interactive exhibit appeals to visitors of all ages, but especially students, who are able to explore the creative process of making music.
Nashville Zoo at Grassmere

Nashville Zoo is moving forward with a $160-million expansion plan that will more than double the number of animals and Zoo’s acreage by 2020. With more state-of-the-art animal exhibits featuring Andean bears and spider monkeys, a new entry plaza, a state-of-the-art veterinary hospital, and vital infrastructure improvements including expanded parking, roads, and walkways. Plans are also underway to expand the elephant facilities and installation of state-of-the-art equipment.
Patsy Cline Museum

Opened in April 2017, visitors can explore the life and legend of country music's top female entertainer of all time. Rare, never before seen artifacts are presented in an interactive, state-of-the-art setting.
Former Mayor Karl Dean enacted plans for new park spaces along the riverfront in downtown Nashville. The first phase opened late summer 2015 and stretches 11 acres and includes a dog park, ornamental gardens, and most notably, a 1.5-acre event lawn called “The Green,” anchored by Ascend Amphitheater. Still to come is a 4.5-acre park on the east bank, increasing access to the Cumberland for river activities. A mile of new greenway will extend from the Rolling Mill Hill Greenway to the Riverfront, creating a two-mile continuous walking and biking loop. Costs of development will be approximately $35 million.

The historic Ryman Auditorium has completed a $14-million expansion and renovation of the building's 1994 additions. The renovation increases the experience for both guests and concert attendees. The Ryman has a new restaurant, Cafe Lula, which sits next to an expanded outdoor box office. Cafe Lula seats 80 guests inside and 30 more on a covered patio and includes an espresso bar in the morning and a full-service bar in the afternoon and evening. Once inside the renovated lobby, visitors will find more concessions, additional restroom facilities, an expanded retail area with interior and exterior access, and larger lobbies. Also new is the “Soul of Nashville,” a theater experience which utilizes special effects, archival images, and holograms to tell the story of the Ryman in an entertaining and emotional way.
SoundWaves by Gaylord Opryland

Set to open in fall 2018, SoundWaves will be a 4-acre, 3-level luxury waterpark with both indoor and outdoor features. There will be dedicated recreation areas for adults, young children, and families.
Tennessee State Museum

Set to open in late 2018, the new site of the Tennessee State Museum is located just behind the Tennessee State Capitol on Nashville’s Bicentennial Mall. The museum’s experiences will rotate with new themes and exhibits, and will feature digital exhibits as well. The new 137,000-square foot facility will feature interactive experiences, a 250-seat Digital Learning and Outreach Center, and much more.

The Wildhorse Saloon recently completed a $9-million-dollar renovation to their space on historic 2nd Avenue. It has been a premiere attraction of downtown Nashville for 20 years, drawing crowds with their live music, line dancing, bars, food, and entertainment. The main focal point remains the 3,300-square-foot dance floor, but the entire 66,000-square-foot, multi-floor building has been revamped to have a more contemporary rustic look and feel, to better cater to the visitors, locals, and convention attendees that they serve.
