Peter Frampton Inducted into Music City Walk of Fame
Grammy®-winning guitarist and songwriter Peter Frampton will be officially inducted into the Music City Walk of Fame on Saturday, October 22 at 1:00 p.m. in Walk of Fame Park in downtown Nashville.

Frampton is one of the most celebrated artists and guitarists in rock history. He has recorded 16 albums, with his most acclaimed being his multi-platinum selling live album Frampton Comes Alive!, which is one of the top-selling live records of all time. He is currently on a world tour in recognition of the 35th anniversary of that famed album. Frampton's Nashville show on this tour, at the Ryman Auditorium on the evening of this Walk of Fame Induction, serves as a charity event benefiting Friends of Radnor Lake.

Supporting Nashville is not new to Frampton. He and many of his band members lived in Nashville for several years and he continues to write, record and rehearse in the city regularly. He has appeared in promotional videos and advertising campaigns for Nashville and also served as the headlining performer for the Music City Jazz & Blues Festival in 2008.

The Music City Walk of Fame is located on Nashville's Music Mile and is a landmark tribute to those from all genres of music who have made significant contributions to preserving the musical heritage of Nashville. With the addition of Frampton, the Walk of Fame boasts 51 stars.

Hospitality Industry Recognizes Two Music City Hitmakers
Arthur White, server at Jimmy Kelly's Restaurant, and Joh Adjei of United Cab are the two newest Music City Hitmakers, recognized for their extraordinary customer service.

White, known to patrons of the famous steakhouse as ‘King Arthur,' received multiple nominations from visitors ranging from corporate outings to guests celebrating their 30th wedding anniversary.

Adjei's nomination recognized a great act of extreme customer service. Adjei noticed an expensive smartphone in his car after his shift. Adjei went to great efforts after hours to find the owner and return the phone.

Both Hitmaker recipients will receive a $100 restaurant gift card, a lapel pin that distinguishes them as a Music City Hitmaker, admission to area attractions, a certificate of recognition and a video highlight feature on visitmusiccity.com/hitmakers.

The Music City Hitmaker program honors those in the hospitality industry who go above and beyond to provide noteworthy service to visitors. The NCVB program is supported by Wright Travel, Regions Bank, the Nashville Business Journal and the Greater Nashville Hospitality Association.
