The annual CMA Music Festival takes over downtown Music City for four days, June 5-8, of more than 100 hours  of music, 30 hours of autograph signings, celebrity sports competitions and other events with more than 400 artists and celebrities in attendance. Artists already on the bill include Faith Hill, Josh Turner, The Oak Ridge Boys, Sugarland, Kenny Rogers, Carrie Underwood, Alan Jackson, Jewel, Wynonna and Dwight Yoakam, among hundreds more.

 The 67th Running of the Iroquois Steeplechase takes place Saturday, May 10, bringing horses, hats and hounds to Percy Warner Park. The event benefits Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt and has raised more than $8,000,000 for the hospital since 1981. The Iroquois Steeplechase remains one of the best horse races in the country, offering an exciting social and sporting afternoon.
