For five days and nights, March 27-31, America's largest music festival dedicated to songs and songwriters descends upon Music City. Hundreds of songwriters perform shows all over town. Rodney Crowell, John Rich, Kix Brooks, Richie Sambora, Kenny Loggins and Leigh Nash are just a handful of artists that will play this year's festival.

 The 38th Annual GMA Dove Awards will be presented on Wednesday, April 25, 2007 (8:00-10:00 p.m. CST) at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville, Tenn., hosted by Dove-winning artists Brian Littrell, Natalie Grant and Donnie McClurkin and broadcast in national syndication during the month of May.

The Nashville Film Festival is hosted by the Regal Green Hills Stadium 16 in the Green Hills area of Nashville, TN April 19-26. Enjoying double-digit growth in the past seven years and with over 16,000 people attending the 2006 edition, it is rapidly becoming the best-known arts event in Tennessee and is the biggest, most international film festival in the mid-South.

Documentary to Open Nashville Film Festival
My Secret Record: Or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Biz, a documentary focused on singer-songwriter and international recording star Rob Thomas, will headline the opening night of the 38th Nashville Film Festival on Thursday, April 19, 2007, at 7:00 p.m. on two screens at the Regal Green Hills Cinema. Thomas, his wife Marisol and director Gillian Grisman will attend the screening.

 The Music City Walk of Fame on Nashville's Music Mile is a landmark tribute to those from all genres of music that have contributed to the world through the music industry with a connection to Music City. The second class of inductees will be honored at the Music City Walk of Fame Induction Ceremony April 22 at Hall of Fame Park in downtown Nashville. .

"Country Music's Biggest Party" takes place June 7-10 in downtown Music City and features more than 70 hours of musical performances, autograph signings, celebrity sports competitions, and other events with more than 400 artists and celebrities participating. Among countless artists scheduled to appear are Martina McBride, Reba McEntire, The Oak Ridge Boys, Jason Aldean, Sugarland, Carrie Underwood and Little Big Town.
