Michael McDonald and Phil Vassar will perform on stage as thousands of people picnic and play at Riverfront Park. The Nashville Symphony will play the soundtrack to the evening's brilliant fireworks display over the Cumberland River. Come early to play in the Family Fun Zone and reserve your spot for this amazing celebration!

  • Barbershop Harmony Society: June 29-July 6 @ Downtown Music City. Welcome them home and enjoy quartet and chorus competitions, concerts and more.
  • Red, White and Bluegrass Night with Vince Gill: July 3 @ Ryman Auditorium. Head downtown for Bluegrass Nights at the Ryman with this show featuring Vince Gill and The SteelDrivers.
  • Shores & Stripes: July 3-4 @ Nashville Shores. Start the celebration early with water slides, a beach concert, boat parade and fireworks.
  • Fourth of July Music City 10K: July 4 @ Downtown Music City. Get a good look at downtown Nashville as you run or walk by some of its greatest landmarks and celebrate your feat at the Fitness Fair.
  • Music City Hot Chicken Festival: July 4 @ East Park, 12-3pm. Enjoy hot chicken from Prince's Hot Chicken Shack, 400°, The Chicken Shack and Bolton's Spicy Chicken & Fish. Live music and family fun are provided as side dishes.
  • Poolapalooza: July 4 @ Gaylord Opryland Resort. Cool out by the pool and experience the sounds of American Bang.
  • Pirates & Poets: July 5 @ LP Field. See Kenny Chesney and friends LeAnn Rimes, Keith Urban, Sammy Hagar and Gary Allan play a summer concert in downtown Music City. Tickets are still available. Get yours before they sell out!
  • Jazz on the Lawn: July 6 @ Belle Meade Plantation. Relax with a picnic to the tunes of Pattie Cossentino in a beautiful Southern setting.
