Cheekwood's Museum of Art has been selected to house the Matilda Geddings Gray Foundation Collection of Fabergé, featuring 57 rare Fabergé pieces highlighted by three Russian Imperial Easter eggs, and a number of functional items, fantasy items and floral works.

 Consisting of 64 paintings, sculptures and works on paper, Matisse, Picasso, and the School of Paris explores the work of artists who made Paris the center of modern art and culture from the late 19th  century until the outbreak of World War II. Works by Monet, Gaugin, van Gogh, Degas and Cézanne are also featured. The exhibit runs through June 3 at the Frist Center for the Visual Arts.

CMT DukesFest 2007 will feature two days of personal appearances by the stars of the beloved show, two days of  “Hazzard style” music, plus car stunts by the original “Dukes” stunt drivers, the appearance of more than 100 General Lees and much more. Don’t miss it June 2-3 at the Tennessee State Fairgrounds.

"Country Music's Biggest Party" takes place June 7-10 in downtown Music City and features more than 70 hours of musical performances, autograph signings, celebrity sports competitions, and other events with more than 400 artists and celebrities participating. Among countless artists scheduled to appear are Martina McBride, Reba McEntire, The Oak Ridge Boys, Jason Aldean, Sugarland, Carrie Underwood and Little Big Town.

New in 2007 - CMA Music Festival's Music City Rising Star Competition. Perform and compete in a vocal soloist competition created especially for high school students.

 The Music City Walk of Fame on Nashville's Music Mile is a landmark tribute to those from all genres of music that have contributed to the world through the music industry with a connection to Music City. The second class of inductees will be honored at the Music City Walk of Fame Induction Ceremony April 22 at Hall of Fame Park in downtown Nashville. .

 Fifty bands play live on 27 entertainment stages throughout the course of the Country Music Marathon & ½ Marathon while hundreds of high school cheerleaders cheer on participants. More music awaits at the Post Race Concert with Sara Evans in downtown's Nashville Arena. The 2007 marathon begins at 7am April 28 at Centennial Park and finishes at LP Field, home of the Tennessee Titans.
