Grand Ole Opry House Anniversary Weekend
The Grand Ole Opry House is celebrating its
40th anniversary with a full slate of special events,
kicking off the weekend of March 15th. Festivities
include
the release of Backstage at the Grand Ole Opry
and signings of the new book, Backstage Tours of
the Opry House, and anniversary shows featuring
Blake Shelton, Miranda Lambert, Clint Black, Josh
Turner, Diamond Rio, and many more. There's even
an Opry House Yo-Yo-A-Thon, commemorating the yo-yo
lesson President Richard Nixon received from
Roy Acuff on the opening night of the Grand Ole
Opry House on March 16, 1974. Be a part of history
as we celebrate this cherished icon of Nashville
and music history.
