Horses: The Iroquois Steeplechase is a three-mile
weight-for-age horse race held in Nashville every spring.
Hats: Spectactors are decked in the prettiest dresses,
biggest hats, and most colorful seersucker suits.
Hearts: The event is at once a sporting, social, and
fundraising event having contributed nearly $10,000,000
to the Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt.
