MUSIC CITY BOWL

Festivities for the Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl start on Thursday, Dec. 29 with MusicFest & Battle of the Bands in downtown Nashville. Then Mississippi State plays Wake Forest at the Bowl at LP Field on Friday, Dec. 30. visitmusiccity.com/visitors/musiccitybowl

BASH ON BROADWAY
Nashville is celebrating the end of 2011 and beginning of 2012 with the big Music City New Year's Eve Bash on Broadway. Live music starts at 7pm at 1st & Broadway with THE FARM, Edens Edge, Jeffrey Steele and Lynyrd Skynyrd. At the stroke of midnight, revelers will enjoy a 115-foot "Music Drop®," fireworks and confetti cannons.
CNN will broadcast live from the event 11:10pm-12:15am/CT for viewers at home. A lot of visitors will be in town this weekend, so please check visitmusiccity.com/newyearseve for news and updates.
