LOEWS VANDERBILT RENOVATION COMPLETION
Loews Vanderbilt Hotel has completed a $17 million renovation. Updates include the addition of the new Mason's restaurant and Mason Bar, a new lobby, guestroom bathrooms, corridors, designer suites, and an updated outdoor patio space. Read more from the Nashville Business Journal.
A 450-room, full-service Hyatt Regency Hotel has been announced for Lower Broadway between Second and Third Avenues South in downtown Nashville.
A 400-room Marriott was announced to open across from Music City Center on Demonbreun Street between Seventh and Eighth Avenues South.

Fly Free Fest is a new music and art festival scheduled for October 11-13 in nearby Adams, TN. Camping, canoeing, live music, art, and more highlight the weekend's festivities. The series intends to "introduce viewers to the people, places and events that have long been established and revered in Nashville, together with their new and emerging counterparts." The 2013 Southern Living Idea House is now open for tours at Nashville's very own Fontanel. The Idea House is composed of a series of buildings inspired by a Middle Tennessee farmhouse. Every Sunday night through August 25, the Southern Living Biscuits & Jam Concert Series offers a night out with live music in the courtyard of the Idea House. THE FARM plays this Sunday's concert.
