Sound & Speed - January
The annual event celebrates music and motorsports as the worlds of country music and NASCAR converge upon downtown Nashville.

Awesome April - April
There is so much going on this month that we had no choice but to call it Awesome April. Concerts, awards shows, operas, music festivals and symphonies are just some of the things that truly make this month one of musical tribute.

Tin Pan South Songwriters Festival - April
America's biggest music festival dedicated to the song and songwriters offers panels, seminars and live music showcases all over town.

CMT Music Awards - April
Country music's only fan-voted awards show honors the best of the year in country music videos.

GMA Music Week and Dove Awards - April
The world of gospel music is celebrated during a week of seminars, worship and artist showcases and culminates with the annual Dove Awards show.

Music City Walk of Fame Induction Ceremony - April
Music legends are honored with stars and guitars in the Walk of Fame at Hall of Fame Park. Inductees include Reba McEntire, Jimi Hendrix, Michael W. Smith and Roy Orbison.

Rites of Spring - April
The two-day music festival brings artists like Spoon, Feist, Lil Jon and Old Crow Medicine Show to Vanderbilt University's Alumni Lawn.

Country Music Marathon & 1/2 Marathon and Post-Race Concert - April
Runners pass through Nashville's scenic landscape as 50 bands on 28 stages play the soundtrack to the race. A star-studded concert follows that night in celebration of accomplishment.

Jammin' to Beat the Blues - April
The annual benefit concert brings stellar entertainment to the historic Ryman Auditorium in support of the Mental Health Association of Middle Tennessee.

Fiesta Belmont: Nashville's Latin Music Street Fair - May
Music and dancing celebrate the Hispanic culture in Music City.

Nashville Crawfish Boil - May
The relatively new festival offers more than 15,000 pounds of crawfish to guests while they enjoy music from artists like Cake, 3 Doors Down and Paramore at Riverfront Park.

Concert on the Lawn Series - May-August
The Tennessee Jazz & Blues Society hosts a jazz concert on the lawn of the Belle Meade Plantation every other Sunday through the summer, providing the perfect setting for a relaxing picnic with soothing jazz music.

Frist Fridays - May-October
Live music plays in Turner Courtyard at the Frist Center for the Visual Arts, offering a great evening of entertainment, hors d'oeuvres and art.

First Tennessee Summer Festival - June
Every Friday and Saturday night in June offers a wonderful setting for a summer picnic in the courtyard amid strolling musicians before you adjourn into the Schermerhorn Symphony Center for a night of brilliant music.

CMA Music Festival - June
4 days, 30 hours of autograph signings, 100 hours of live music, 400 country music artists and celebrities and thousands of music lovers create and celebrate the Ultimate Country Music Fan Experience in downtown Music City.

Bonnaroo Music + Arts Festival - June
The only round-the-clock major music festival in the country boasts 4 days of more than 100 bands and 20 comedians performing on 13 stages in Manchester, TN, 60 miles south of Nashville.

Nashville Songwriters Festival - June
Songwriters of all genres converge on Music Row for the annual even happening the third weekend in June each year. It's part festival, part conference and part networking.

Bluegrass Nights at the Ryman - June-July
See the best in bluegrass on the stage where bluegrass was born. Thursday nights in the summer bring artists like Earl Scruggs, Rhonda Vincent and Ralph Stanley to the Ryman Auditorium.

Music City July 4th - July 4
Great musical entertainment, family fun and spectacular fireworks bring more than 100,000 people downtown to Riverfront Park for a great party celebrating US independence.

Music City J.A.M. - Labor Day Weekend
The two-day festival offers nationally renowned artists along with local flavors of jazz, soul, gospel, reggae and blues at Riverfornt Park.

Next Big Nashville - September
5 days of music all over town showcase Nashville bands like The Features, Jeremy Lister, The Pink Spiders, De Novo Dahl, American Bang, AutoVaughn and at least 100 others.

Americana Music Festival and Conference - September
Over 1,000 artists and industry professionals from all over the world converge upon downtown Music City for a week of panels, seminars, a trade show, artist showcases and more.

World of Bluegrass - October
The IBMA Business Conference, International Bluegrass Music Awards and Bluegrass Fan Fest together create the annual World of Bluegrass Event in downtown Music City.

Inspirational Country Week - October
The event brings fans and industry to Nashville for a week of music showcases and industry panels and discussions. The Annual Inspirational Country Music Awards Show concludes the event.

Music City Walk of Fame Induction Ceremony - November
Music legends are honored with stars and guitars in the Walk of Fame at Hall of Fame Park. Inductees include Hank Williams Sr., Barbara Mandrell, Emmylou Harris and The Crickets.

CMA Awards - November
Country Music's Biggest Night honors the best in the business and has been doing so for more than 40 years.
