Music City celebrates the month of April with Awesome April, a musical tribute to the city that promises several major events to cure spring fever. Throughout the month, visitors can see live performances from some of the best songwriters in the world at Tin Pan South Songwriters Festival or sit under the sun and stars while listening to some of today’s hottest artists at Rites of Spring music festival. Take in a potential Oscar-nominated documentary at the Nashville Film Festival or run the Country Music Marathon & ½ Marathon while being serenaded by more than 50 bands.
Enjoy the gorgeous Spring weather by spending your day on foot downtown. Walk through the history of country music at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, catch the latest exhibit at the Frist Center for the Visual Arts and tour the Mother Church of Country Music, the Ryman Auditorium.
