Bar No. 308 407 Gallatin Ave This hip new East Nashville establishment serves satisfying cocktails featuring house-made syrups. Offering a relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff and an inventive menu of upscale bar bites, it also features a playful drink menu with drinks inspired by favorite authors, like the Hemingway Daquiri.
Belcourt Taps and Tapas 2117 Belcourt Avenue This new restaurant, located in a renovated 1920’s bungalow in the Hillsboro Village neighborhood, features a menu of small, beer-friendly plates like homemade pickles or sweet potato tots, and tapas-style dishes like truffled white cheddar mac-andcheese. Bombasha 2000 Belcourt Avenue Nashville’s only Brazilian steakhouse, Bombasha is a new addition to Hillsboro Village. Their prix fixe dinner menu features a wide variety of meats carved tableside by authentic gauchos as well as a gourmet salad bar and an extensive drink selection.
Burger Up 2901 12th Avenue South Known for their scrumptious upscale burgers, Burger Up provides unique flavors in their meats and toppings to tempt both carnivores and herbivores alike. Located in the hip 12 South neighborhood, the vast majority of their menu is sourced locally: over 10 Tennessee farms are represented on their menu. Try the Woodstock served with Tennessee white cheddar and Jack Daniel’s maple ketchup or vegetarian Marathon quinoa-and-black bean burger.
The Catbird Seat 1711 Division Street From local restaurateur brothers Ben and Max Goldberg comes a new addition to Nashville’s burgeoning culinary scene. Located above their speakeasy cocktail bar, the Patterson House, the 34-seat restaurant features an ever-changing seven-course menu of seasonally inspired dishes, prepared by acclaimed chefs Josh Habiger and Erik Anderson. Together, they cook in a U-shaped kitchen surrounded by countertop seating, giving patrons the opportunity to observe and interact with the chefs as their food is prepared.
Chago's Cantina 2015 Belmont Boulevard Located across from Belmont University, this new eatery offers a menu featuring Central and South American cuisine. Try the mofongo, a spicy Puerto Rican dish of plantains and creole shrimp, or pupusas con curtido, an El Salvadoran dish served with a tangy cabbage slaw. More traditional Mexican fare is also offered.
Cooper's On Porter 701 Porter Road This new East Nashville restaurant features an extensive microbrew beer selection and creative pub fare like their house-made Bavarian pretzels with horseradish cheddar sauce. They also offer a large patio and daily happy hour specials.
The Farm House at Fontanel 4225 Whites Creek Pike Located at The Fontanel Mansion (the log home formerly owned by Country Music Hall of Fame® member Barbara Mandrell), The Farm House is a “farm-tofork” restaurant--much of the food comes straight from area farms and producers. Jed's Sports Bar 114 28th Avenue North Upscale restaurant The Acorn closed its doors and its owners have reopened it as a sports bar. Located in the West End neighborhood of Nashville, this multi-story restaurant has a large selection of draft beers, a patio bar, live music and plenty of TVs to catch the game.
Kayne Prime 1103 McGavock Street The newest creation and crown jewel of Chris Hyndman (Virago, Whiskey Kitchen, Tavern), Kayne Prime boasts modern and upscale interpretations of classic American steakhouse fare, featuring market-driven menu items and farm-to-table creations as well as a creative cocktail menu.
