June 12th Throwback Movie Thursdays Features The Princess Bride
Nashville Zoo announces its second Throwback Movie Thursday of the season, The Princess Bride, set for Thursday, June 12. Activities begin at 6:30 p.m. with the movie starting at sundown around 8 p.m.
Throwback guests will enjoy old-school games and classic music before the evening’s feature film is shown on a giant screen on Festival Field. Visitors can pack a picnic or purchase movie snacks, along with wine and beer, courtesy of Taste of the Wild Catering and Bound’ry bar services.
The event is free for Zoo members and $6 for non-members. DinoTrek, the Wild Animal Carousel, food and drink are an additional fee (wine and beer are cash only). In the event of inclement weather, a cancellation notice will be posted on the Zoo’s website and Facebook page by 4:30 p.m. the day of the event. Throwback Movie Thursday is supported by Irwin Entertainment. The final Throwback Movie Thursdays for 2014 is scheduled for July 3 (Independence Day).
