Seniors Invited to Free Zoo Admission Courtesy of Cigna-HealthSpring
Nashville’s senior community is invited to a free day at Nashville Zoo courtesy of Cigna-HealthSpring®. Nashville Zoo is partnering with Cigna-HealthSpring for this year’s final biannual Senior Day at the Zoo on Monday, September 22. Adults ages 65 and older will receive free Zoo admission from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. and a $5 voucher that can be used for purchases at the Zoo’s food locations. There will be a $5 parking fee per vehicle.
Senior Day activities take place throughout the Zoo from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The young and young-at-heart can enjoy special keeper talks, rides on the Wild Animal Carousel and unique, interactive encounters with our outreach animals along the Zoo paths. A Basics of Medicare meeting will be held at 11:30 a.m. and the Cigna-HealthSpring Silver Stars talent troupe will perform at 12:30 p.m. Senior Day at the Zoo is the result of a partnership between Nashville Zoo and Cigna-HealthSpring.
