Rodizio Grill’s taste of “The Brazilian Way" opens on 2nd Avenue!
November 26, 2012- Nashville, TN- Rodizio Grill, the
Brazilian Steakhouse, is ready to make it’s grand debut to the public on
Tuesday, December 4th. Just
like a Broadway show, the enthusiastic cast and crew of eighty has prepared for
their opening night! They have memorized
their lines, had their costumes fitted and will have a final ‘run through” at a
ribbon-cutting ceremony with TN State Senator, Steve Dickerson on Monday,
December 3rd during a private VIP event.
Rodizio Grill is a traditional "churrascaria" (Brazilian Steakhouse) where the style of service features a rotation of the meats around the dining room table, as well as the rotisserie style of cooking. Guests can enjoy Rodizio Grill’s priced-fixed experience which features unlimited appetizers, gourmet salads and, for its main event, a parade of perfectly grilled meats carved tableside by dashing Brazilian Gauchos. Some of Rodizio Grill’s most famous items include Pao de Queijo (Brazilian Cheese Bread), Feijoda (a rich black bean stew) and other Brazilian staples like Farofa (roasted yucca flower), Picanha (a juice cut of top sirloin), Maminha (a robustly flavored tri-tip sirloin); as well as cuts of marinated chicken, sausages, lamb and even glazed grilled pineapple. Authentic Brazilian homemade desserts top off this unforgettable dining experience.
Local owners, Mark and Carla Rosenthal, have overseen the construction and are excited to finally present the restaurant which seats 240 guests. Rodizio Grill has both banquet and private dining facilities, with room to expand! For your viewing pleasure, the restaurant features an open grill area and a beautiful wine wall, which highlights Rodizio’s eclectic wine list. The natural beauty of the 19th century Rhea Building has also been accentuated with brightly colored Brazilian art and commissioned pieces from local Nashville artist, Candice Sone.
During the construction phase, there are bound to be setbacks and for Rodizio Grill there has been no exception. Due to effects from super storm ‘Sandy’, the Rosenthal’s learned that their tables and chairs, which are being imported directly from Brazil, are going to be delayed. “We will not have to wait for the delivery in order to open. Local restaurants have generously offered to help us out until our shipment arrives. As the expression goes-- the show must go on ”, stated Mark Rosenthal.
Pricing for Rodizio Grill will begin with a soft opening price of $29.90 for the ‘full Rodizio’- a three-course dinner. The restaurant will be located at 166 Second Avenue N. in Nashville, TN and will be open at 11am daily for lunch and dinner. More information can be found and reservations can be made by visiting their Facebook page at www.facebook.com/rodiziogrillnashville or Rodizio Grill’s main website www.RodizioGrill.com.
