NINTH ANNUAL PLANT SALE HELPS CHEEKWOOD’S GARDENS GROW
Annual Sale Hosted by the Garden Club of Nashville
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The early bird catches the worm at the ninth annual Native Plant Sale at Cheekwood. Hosted by the Garden Club of Nashville, the annual sale is taking place on Saturday, April 1, and offers an extraordinary variety of wildflower treasures perfect for local gardens. The sale benefits the Howe Garden at Cheekwood.
The Native Plant Sale occurs inside Cheekwood’s Botanic Hall and features more than 50 varieties of plants, including Wild Sweet William, Baptista and Tennessee Coneflower. There will also be an assortment of select native shrubs and flowering trees, which offer gorgeous springtime blooms and brilliant fall color.
Cheekwood’s gardens are bursting with color as more than 100,000 tulips bloom to create a vibrant display for Cheekwood in Bloom, the six-week-long springtime festival happening through April 23.
The sale runs from 9:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Gates open at 9 a.m. and Cheekwood’s regular gate admission applies.
