THE ITALIAN LIGHTS FESTIVAL & THE MUSIC CITY ECLIPSE COLLIDE FOR AN UNFORGETTABLE WEEKEND IN NASHVILLE
NASHVILLE, TN -- The Italian Lights Festival returns August 18th-21st, four days highlighting the food, wine, music & traditions of Italy. The 2017 festival culminates in what is being heralded as the Great American Eclipse. Festival goers will have a front row seat at this NASA certified event. Thousands of solar viewing glasses will be provided courtesy of Tennessee State Parks and the Nashville Convention & Visitors Corporation.
Italian Lights will feature live music, arts & crafts vendors, authentic food and wine tastings, as well as celestial special guests. NASA Researcher Veronica Zabala and PBS Star Janet Ivey of Janet’s Planets are hosting a variety of solar activities. Festival proceeds benefit the Nashville Hospitality Association’s ProStart Program. ProStart funds college scholarships for Tennessee high school students entering the hospitality industry.
