12th Annual Garden Party Gets New Name, Refreshed Look
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – On Friday, June 23, Cheekwood will host Highballs, Hops and Hydrangeas, its 12th annual garden party formerly titled Highballs and Hydrangeas. With its new name comes a refreshed look, the addition of late night food service and a featured DJ performance on the Holly Lawn, the site of the Cheekwood Beer Garden.
Set among the gardens, the event will raise funds to help support Cheekwood’s daily operations and 55-acre property, including the newly restored Cheekwood Mansion.
The event will feature local fare from Nashville Originals restaurants, with food from Copper Kettle, Yellow Porch, Wild Iris, Fleet Street Pub and Watermark, among others. Pizza Perfect will provide late night food service.
Drinks will be available for purchase, with craft beers from Hi-Wire Brewery, as well as specialty cocktails. A musical performance by DJ Mindub will take place under a tented area.
Cheekwood has collaborated with ride sharing app Lyft to offer exclusive ride discounts to Highballs, Hops and Hydrangeas. New customers can receive $15 in ride credits with code CHEEKWOOD17. Existing customers can save 10% off two rides to or from the event with code HIGHBALLS10.
