CHAUHAN ALE & MASALA HOUSE INTRODUCES GREEN DOOR GOURMET PARTNERSHIP AND TUESDAY TASTINGS
New programs at the North Gulch restaurant include weekly tastings at the bar and specials highlighting local produce
(NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE) June 30, 2016 – Beginning Tuesday, July 5, both the kitchen and bar menus at Chauhan Ale & Masala House are getting a boost. The North Gulch restaurant has partnered with Green Door Gourmet, a local farm and CSA (community supported agriculture) to offer guests special dishes made from local produce. While the chefs are working their magic in the kitchen, bar manager Jen Fuller will be making Tuesdays boozy with a new weekly installment of tastings so that guests can learn about select liquors, wines and cocktails.
Chauhan Goes Green Door Gourmet
Chauhan is spicing things up this summer by adding a fresh and local kick to its weekend menus with produce from Green Door Gourmet. The CSA will make weekly deliveries of fresh, locally-grown produce to the Chauhan kitchen on Tuesdays, and executive chef Maneet Chauhan along with corporate chef Aatul Jain will create specials for the weekend menu. The first Chauhan Goes Green Door Gourmet menu will roll out the weekend of Friday, July 8, so make your reservation now to be able to try the fresh and local fare!
Beginning Tuesday, July 5, bar manager Jen Fuller will share her knowledge of all things spirits with a special tasting menu available in the bar area every Tuesday night. Each week will feature a new liquor, wine or cocktail for guests to explore in addition to the regular cocktail menu. The July 5 tasting will highlight different agaves through Old Fashioned cocktails for $15. Please see below for the July Tuesday Tastings schedule (prices will vary each week).
July 5 – Agave Old Fashioned featuring Trianon Reposado, Fidencio and Cruz de Fuego
July 12 – Bubbles, Bubbles, Bubbles featuring 071 Prosseco, Poema Cava and Juve Y Camps
July 19 – Amaros featuring Amaro Nonino, Montenegor and Fernet Branca
July 26 – Tasty Tikis featuring painkillers, mai tais and fog cutters
