Yoga Under the Stars | Saturday, Feb. 25 (before normal operating hours)
Tickets available at www.adventuresci.org/yoga.
Stunning NASA visualizations, 6.5 million stars, and inner peace await at Yoga Under the Stars. While normal yoga practices focus on finding inner peace, Yoga Under the Stars brings an outward shift to the experience. The stunning visuals displayed on Sudekum’s magnificent 63-foot dome inspire thought on the scale of the universe and humanity’s place within it.
The darkness combined with a 360-degree view of the stars can disorient some viewers making achieving balance an even more challenging activity. The added difficulty makes this yoga practice perfect for intermediate yogis looking for a new experience.
Each session will begin with breath work, continue with positions to elevate the heart, and end in savasana to relax the body and the mind.
ECLIPSE: The Sun Revealed | Now showing daily (during normal operating hours)
Schedule available at www.adventuresci.org/schedule.
ECLIPSE: The Sun Revealed is the latest addition to the Sudekum Planetarium’s robust catalog of planetarium show that takes viewers on a spectacular journey through the fascinating historical and cultural impact of eclipses, the astronomical events that produce them, and the geometry that leads to lunar, partial, annular and total solar eclipses.
Now on the schedule daily, Adventure Science Center visitors can catch this new production to get their families and friends prepared for the Music City Solar Eclipse (#MusicCityEclipse) on Monday, Aug. 21. Discover why this celestial phenomenon is one not to miss!
This show is made possible in part through the generous support of the Sudekum Memorial Trust.
