WOOD FIRED PIZZA ADDED TO MENU AT SARDINIA – NOW THAT’S AMORE!
Sardinia Introduces New Artisanal Pizza
There are few experiences more satisfying than devouring a simple yet delicious pizza, made in-house with fresh, flavorful ingredients. Sardinia Enoteca Ristorante, in Nashville’s West End, is pleased to introduce a selection of four new made to order pizzas from its wood-burning oven. Sardinia’s pizzas ($12-$14) are available every day for lunch from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and dinner Sunday-Thursday 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.; Friday-Saturday 4 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Since opening its doors in February, Sardinia has been appreciated for its rustic Italian menu and cozy, upscale ambience. Nestled in Nashville’s bustling West End, the sister restaurant to its original Miami Beach location is quickly making a name for itself in the Music City. Food-savvy diners are drawn to the cuisine, which combines Italian imports and local ingredients from Tennessee farmers. Inside the restaurant, aromas of oregano, basil and fresh-baking dough, as well as great seafood and house-made pastas transport guests directly to coastal Italy.
The classic Margherita – tomato, daily made mozzarella and basil – is simple yet bold in flavor, while the Marinara – tomato sauce, garlic, oregano, black olives and anchovies – served without cheese, packs a punch. The Prosciutto cotto & funghi – prosciutto cotto, mix of wild mushroom, mozzarella and tomato – delicately balances flavor and texture. The Sausage & Broccoli Rabe, a take on the restaurant’s signature pasta dish, tastes like it just came out of Nonna’s kitchen.
With a diverse selection of wines that are as robust as its new pizzas, Sardinia sends guests on a heavenly, delectable journey through the Mediterranean.
