‘SAINT ANEJO’ NOW OPEN
M Street Entertainment Group introduces its ‘Cantina-Chic’ Mexican restaurant on M Street in the Gulch
NASHVILLE, Tenn. November 6, 2013 – Chris Hyndman, Founder and
President of M Street Entertainment Group that owns and operates Virago, Whiskey Kitchen, Tavern, Kayne Prime, and The Rosewall, has opened his newest restaurant concept named ‘SAINT ANEJO’ on M Street in the Gulch. Saint Anejo is located at 1120 McGavock Street next to Virago and across from Whiskey Kitchen and Kayne Prime. Saint Anejo is located directly in front of ‘The Rosewall’ Venue and Event Space.
Saint Anejo is a full-service, cantina-style restaurant featuring inspired Mexican cuisine, Latin mixology, and a premium tequila and mezcal menu of over 120 labels. “Although its cuisine is very chef-driven, with superior ingredients, conscious sourcing, and inspired creativity, Saint Anejo is casual, fun, and relatively inexpensive,” states Hyndman. “You won’t see the overused term gourmet or upscale Mexican thrown around here – it’s ‘comfortably cool’, highly accessible, and just plain good.”
The atmosphere vibe is “Rock n’ Roll, Cantina-Chic” with a focus placed on its architecture and design. “Saint Anejo is an exciting place where we expect people will want to dine, drink, and hang out to socialize,” adds Hyndman. The space seats over 200, and includes a ‘Tequila Library Lounge’ in a private mezzanine that overlooks the first level. A series of enormous convertible windows open the entire space out to M Street. An elevated large patio shares an indoor/outdoor bar with the interior. Multiple TVs feature sports early and music videos late.
Saint Anejo’s cuisine menu showcases an extensive list of creative tacos, a variety of house-made guacamoles, regionally influenced chef specialties, and several healthy options not usually found in a Mexican restaurant. Saint Anejo’s cocktail list features craft margaritas and Latin mixology classics. The concoctions are constructed with premium spirits, fresh, exotic produce and botanicals, and unique combinations of nectars and spices.
The unparalleled premium tequila and mezcal list is showcased with frequently scheduled tequila tastings, tequila flights, and private tequila parties in the ‘Tequila Library Lounge’. “Tequila has gained recognition as one of the truly great luxury spirits of the world, and it will be a big feature here.”
Saint Anejo is currently open for dinner, and will introduce lunch service on November 11. The restaurant is open seven days a week – lunch, dinner, and late night, with food available late. Brunch service will be served on Saturdays and Sundays beginning in December.
