Mall partners with blockbuster musical for spellbinding specials
Nashville, February 4, 2014 – A Wicked partnership is brewing between The Mall at Green Hills and Broadway’s biggest blockbuster, Wicked, now in its tenth year on Broadway. Wicked flies back to TPAC from March 26 through April 20.
From February 28 through March 23, visitors to The Mall at Green Hills can delight in the World of Wicked museum display, special offers from retailers, weekend giveaways and other “Oz-some” exclusive offerings to celebrate this worldwide theatrical sensation.
Winner of over 50 major awards including the Grammy Award and three Tony Awards, WICKED is the untold story of the witches of Oz. Long before Dorothy drops in, two other girls meet in the land of Oz. One, born with emerald-green skin, is smart, fiery and misunderstood. The other is beautiful, ambitious and very popular. WICKED tells the story of their remarkable odyssey, how these two unlikely friends grow to become the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good.
WICKED has been declared “A Cultural Phenomenon” by Variety and “The Best Musical of the Decade” by Entertainment Weekly. WICKED currently has nine productions around the world, in New York, London, Japan (Tokyo), Australia, Asian Tour (Manila), South Korea (Seoul), Latin America (Mexico City), a U.K. Tour (Dublin), and two concurrent North American National Tours.
