Kate’s Kitchen Opens This Week in Cool Springs
Offers quaint, neighborhood cafe with a ‘French Twist’
(Franklin, TN), November 13, 2010 - A new restaurant, Kate’s Kitchen opens Thursday, November 14th in Cool Springs. A new member of the Strawn family of restaurants including Mack and Kate’s, M Restaurant, Macke’s and m. market, Kate’s Kitchen will offer breakfast and lunch this week with dinner starting December 5th.
Located at 3301 Aspen Grove (corner of Cool Springs Blvd/Aspen Grove next to Franklin's Synergy Bank and Porta Via), the new restaurant is a neighborhood market with a French twist with new chef Alain Treville from Cafe de Paris at the helm. His wife Tracy Treville from the Art Institute of Atlanta, Four Seasons and most recently Paris, will be the pastry chef offering fresh sweets and bread and for take-home dinners. Kate's Kitchen will be serving breakfast, lunch and dinner in a traditional cafe style and specialize in 'grab and go' favorite foods making takeout easy. Catering is also available in-house with a small intimate private dining space. Open just in time for the holidays, Kate's Kitchen will have a coffee bar and breakfast starting at 7 am, lunch at 11 and take-out until 5:00 pm Tuesday-Friday with Brunch on Saturdays. Family style dinner will be served Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights with private chef instruction for groups of ten on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Breakfast menu selections include fresh beignets, an assortment of homemade crepes, Farmer’s plate and banana walnut pancakes. For lunch there are hot and cold choices, salads, sandwiches and soups, croque madame and a chicken divan crepe. Dinner will be served at the table with assortments of baguettes, cheese and a daily French inspired entree’. French wine and local beer will be offered and available for tastings and pairings during the private cooking classes.
