Music City July 4th Festivities to Offer Zipline for $10
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Music City July 4th: “Let Freedom Sing!” just got bigger with the addition of a 300-ft zipline on 2nd Avenue. The Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp (NCVC) announced today it is partnering with Adventureworks to offer rides from noon until 6 p.m. on July 4. The cost is $10 per person.
“Adventureworks has been providing Nashville with adventures since 1987, and we are thrilled to bring zip lining to downtown Nashville for the 4th of July celebration,” said Jennifer Halverson, president of Adventureworks.
The zipline will be located on 2nd Avenue between Commerce and Broadway. Half-price coupons will be offered at the various information and sponsor booths throughout the event campus (see event map), courtesy of Dr Pepper and Kroger.
The zipline is designed for participants weighing more than 40 lbs. and less than 200 lbs. Zipping is recommended for ages 6 and up. Exceptions to any restrictions are at the discretion of Adventureworks management.
