Hop into Spring at the Zoo’s Eggstravaganzoo
Nashville Zoo’s annual spring celebration, Eggstravaganzoo, is back for its 16th year of egg hunts and Easter treats for children of all ages. The event is set to take place Saturday, April 19, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
During Eggstravaganzoo, kids can partake in one of ten scheduled egg hunts held throughout the day on the Festival Field.
2014 Festival Field Egg Hunt Schedule:
• Ages 2 & under: 10 a.m. or 12:30 p.m.
• 3 year olds: 10:30 a.m. or 1 p.m.
• 4 - 5 year olds: 11 a.m. or 1:30 p.m.
• 6 - 7 year olds: 11:30 a.m. or 2 p.m.
• 8 - 10 year olds: Noon or 2:30 p.m.
Other activities include a Zoo-wide hunt for larger, golden eggs, spring-themed games, bounce houses and face painting.
Back this year is Bunny Café, a unique breakfast and lunch experience offering views of the egg hunt field and up-close visits with the Easter Bunny. Reservations are required and can be made on the Zoo’s website.
Eggstravaganzoo is included with Zoo admission or membership. Additional event fees apply for Bunny Café and face painting. Eggstravaganzoo is sponsored by HCA and Ryman Hospitalities Properties Foundation, and is supported by AT&T and Monroe Harding.
