OAK STEAKHOUSE NASHVILLE BEGINS LUNCH SERVICE TODAY
Nashville, TN (March 5, 2018) - Oak Steakhouse located in the heart of downtown Nashville will begin lunch service today, Monday, March 5. The new lunch service will be available Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
"Since our successful opening last June, we have seen the need to provide another option for upscale business lunches in Nashville, for locals, as well as visitors of the adjacent Westin Hotel, Music City Center and Bridgestone Arena," said Steve Palmer, managing partner of The Indigo Road Restaurant Group. "Like our dinner service, our mission for lunch service is to provide a memorable dining experience to each and every guest."
Oak Steakhouse Nashville, led by long-tenured executive chef Eric Zizka, is different from a traditional steakhouse, featuring a chef-driven menu that will change seasonally, inspired by fresh, local produce. Drawing upon his previous experience as executive chef Oak Steakhouse Atlanta and chef de cuisine at Oak Steakhouse Charleston, Zizka understands the importance of partnerships with local and regional purveyors as well as Certified Angus Beef® Prime and has cultivated strong relationships in Nashville while creating the menu. Local partnerships include: Williams Honey; Green Door Gourmet; Gifford's Bacon, KLD Farms, Porter Road Butcher; Noble Farms Dairy and Charpier's Bakery.
Lunch menu highlights will include: a new Short Rib Panini featuring braised Certified Angus Beef Short Rib, Local Mizuna, Pickled Red Onion, Blistered Red Peppers and Arugula Pesto, the Oak Smash Burger with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, with aged cheddar on a locally-made brioche bun and the Mustard-Bourbon Glazed Bistro Steak, a marinated tenderloin served with house-made sea salt & vinegar chips. The lunch menu also features fresh seafood, including the Grilled Wild Salmon and Blackened Fish Tacos.
The menu is complemented by a full bar program that includes local beer, wine and specialty cocktails.
Located adjacent to the Westin Nashville, Oak Steakhouse occupies 7,000 square feet with a dining capacity of 200 seats as well as a private dining space seating up to 100 guests. Bill Johnson of Atlanta-based The Johnson Studio at Cooper Cary led the architecture and design efforts. The restaurant features signature Oak design elements including exposed light bulbs, reclaimed wood and leather banquettes, creating a contemporary, sophisticated space.
Oak Steakhouse is located at 801 Clark Place Nashville, TN 37203 and offers complimentary valet parking at the hotel entrance seven days a week. The restaurant is open for lunch Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., dinner Monday through Thursday from 5 to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 5 to 11 p.m. and Sunday from 5 to 9 p.m. The Oak Steakhouse bar opens at 4:30 p.m. Monday - Friday and offers happy hour drink and small bite specials.
