M Street Announces Edible Art Show: Grand Finale Event Celebrating Fall 2017 Chef Week
NASHVILLE (October 16, 2017) – M Street’s Edible Art Show, taking place Sunday, November 12 from 1 - 5 p.m. at The Rosewall invites guests to indulge in an avant-garde gallery setting while tasting their way through newly unveiled culinary, pastry and mixology innovations from all six M Street restaurant concepts.
Cuisine, confections and cocktails will be displayed as edible, interactive artwork within nine custom exhibits created exclusively for this one-time event. Artists within the carefully curated M Street Artist Alliance have partnered with M Street’s Executive Chefs, Mixologists and Pastry Chefs to collaboratively design the edible and aesthetic components of each exhibit. Guests can anticipate samples seasoned by a motion-powered sculpture, mixologist's latest cocktails flowing from gallery frame to tasting glass and pastries that morph into abstract art. Tastings inside a butcher shop replica, black light-powered dark room, fashion-inspired maze, an urban escape, and a sugar-skull paradise will complete the experience, with a photo and video observation lounge awaiting guests who want to unwind.
This exciting culmination event will celebrate the close of M Street’s Fall 2017 Chef Week, taking place October 30 - November 12. During this two week period, Chef Week menus featuring new fall innovations will be unveiled alongside regular menus within all six M Street restaurant concepts. By ordering from any two Chef Week menus during this time, guests receive a Gallery Pass, earning them VIP exclusive access to the Edible Art Show.
A portion of proceeds from Chef Week signature items and the Edible Art Show will be donated to The Country Rising Fund of The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee supporting victims of the Las Vegas shooting in addition to those in Texas, Florida and Puerto Rico who have been impacted by recent hurricanes.
