GREEN DOOR GOURMET CELEBRATES SEVENTH ANNUAL FALL FEST ON OCT. 1
NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Green Door Gourmet, a 350-acre organic working farm located in West Nashville kicks off the season at the seventh annual Fall Fest on Sunday, October 1 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 7007 River Road Pike in Nashville.
Fall Fest features food trucks, adult beverages including mimosas and a bloody mary bar, live music throughout the day, artisan & craft vendors, hayrides, pumpkin games, a pumpkin patch and a ‘Kids Zone’ featuring Farmer Jason, Mr. Steve the Music Man, a petting zoo, balloon artists, magic shows and farm games. More than 50 local artisan vendors will be showcasing their local, southern-made wares. Expected food trucks include Califarmia, Peg Leg Porker, Grilled Cheeserie, Yayo’s OMG Tacos, Hattie B’s, Jeni’s Ice Cream, Bao Down and Frothy Monkey.
"We are thrilled to bring back our annual Fall Fest for a seventh year. It’s truly an event for the whole family, with entertainment for all ages. We're so excited to welcome all of our music acts, but especially The WannaBeetles on our main stage,” says Sylvia Ganier, owner. "Fall Fest is our celebration of the changing season and a new harvest of locally grown vegetables and flowers. Bring the family and join us for day filled with live music, local crafts, vendor booths with samples and plenty of food and beverage options."
Admission is $15 per adult and $5 for children 6 – 12 years old; children 5 and under are free. Parking is provided at no additional charge, though carpooling is strongly encouraged. Throughout Fall Fest, visitors can also enjoy live performances by John England and the Western Swingers, Allen Thompson Band, Halfbrass, and more in the Grand Barn from 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.
